The Opportunities The Rehabilitation Case Managers coordinates timely and sustainable return-to-work support programs to ill and injured employees across the agency.
Working with the Senior Rehabilitation Case Manager, this role will coordinate with employees, managers, rehabilitation providers and consult with medical professionals, including Comcare to support the return-to-work process.
To excel you'll have:
Proven ability to achieve results, work under pressure with close attention to detail, organise priorities and meet deadlines. A strong client focus, and commitment to providing effective services and professional advice to clients. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, the ability to collaborate, negotiate and influence others in the pursuit of desired outcomes. Organisational skills and the ability to prioritise work effectively and meet key demands in appropriate timeframes. Knowledge and ability to apply Comcare policies and principles governed under the Safety Rehabilitation and Compensation Act 1988. Broad technical knowledge and application of rehabilitation management frameworks, including applying early intervention and evidence-based approaches to facilitate a timely return to work for injured/ill employees. Certificate IV Injury Management, or willingness to obtain, or equivalent work experience. Eligibility AEC employees must be Australian citizens.
