The Workplace Health and Safety at the Mackay Base Hospital is seeking applications for a Rehabilitation and Return to Work Coordinator to join their team on a permanent basis.
Your opportunity
As the Senior Rehabilitation and Return to Work Coordinator, you will be responsible for developing tailored strategies to improve safe and sustainable return to work outcomes and reduce workplace injury, claims costs and durations.
You will have responsibility for preparing and providing reporting and analysis against rehabilitation key performance indicators and metrics, to demonstrate improvement and enable continuous improvement of rehabilitation processes, for the safety of people and sustainable business.
About the Team
The Work Health and Safety Unit provides work health and safety advisory, support, investigation, rehabilitation and return to work support, audits, and assessment services to MHHS service groups, business units and facilities across Mackay Hospital and Health Service.
The Work Health and Safety Unit is within the People and Culture Division supporting safety and wellbeing initiatives.
