This role is all about helping injured individuals regain their independence and re-enter the workforce.
Your work will change lives by securing suitable employment opportunities with new employers.
Key Responsibilities: Conduct Earning Capacity Assessments and Transferable Skills Analysis to map out meaningful vocational goals.
Coordinate and deliver Labour Market Analysis to support these assessments.
Provide vocational counseling to claimants facing challenges in their employment journey.
Lead Job Placement Activities alongside the Employment Consultant Team to nail those job interviews and secure new opportunities.
Develop strategies to tackle any roadblocks on the path to employment.
Maintain regular, crystal-clear communication with all stakeholders and keep everyone updated.
Write up stellar, accurate reports on the services you provide.
What You'll Need: Tertiary qualifications in Rehabilitation Counselling, Psychology or Occupational Therapists, Exercise Therapists, Speech Pathologists and Physiotherapists.
Current AHPRA registration (Full or Provisional) or ASORC Membership (Full or Associate).
Stellar communication skills to build rapport and lasting relationships.
A solid understanding of WHS & EEO principles.
A valid Working with Children's Check, National Police Check Certificate, and a current driver's license (with a reliable vehicle).
Bonus Points If You Have: Knowledge of NSW CTP claim processes.
Experience as a Rehabilitation Consultant within the return-to-work space.
Skills You'll be great at: Mastery in Transferable Skills Analysis, Labour Market Analysis, and Earning Capacity Assessments.
Strong time management and independence, meeting deadlines like a pro.
The ability to engage claimants with motivational interviewing techniques.
Writing high-quality reports and keeping data in line with compliance standards.
