Our client is seeking a talented Regulatory Strategy Advisor specialising in Emerging Markets to join their forward-thinking team. This role involves developing and implementing regulatory strategies that support growth in emerging markets. The successful candidate will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to navigate regulatory environments, identify opportunities, and drive strategic initiatives.
Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement regulatory strategies for emerging energy markets.Monitor and analyse regulatory changes and market trends.Advise on regulatory risks and opportunities impacting business operations.Collaborate with internal teams to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.Engage with regulatory bodies, industry groups, and policymakers.Provide strategic insights and recommendations to support business development.Prepare regulatory submissions, reports, and position papers.Represent the company in regulatory discussions and negotiations.Identify and assess new market opportunities and regulatory developments.Support the development of policies and procedures related to regulatory compliance.Contribute to the strategic planning and decision-making processes.Foster relationships with key stakeholders to influence regulatory outcomes.Track and report on regulatory developments and their impact on business strategies.
QualificationsBachelor's degree in Law, Economics, Business, or a related field.Minimum of 5 years' experience in regulatory strategy or regulatory affairs.Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks in emerging energy markets.Proven experience in developing and implementing regulatory strategies.Excellent analytical, research, and problem-solving skills.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work effectively in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.Strategic thinking with the ability to influence and negotiate.Commitment to ethical standards and corporate integrity.Experience in the energy sector is highly desirable.
