About the Opportunity This is a critical role with the real ability to support building relationships with our regulators. At the core of your career experience will be the ability to lead and support the provision of expert and specialist advice regarding ARTC's rail safety accreditation, including management of variations and changes as required. As ARTC continues to evolve as industry leaders, you will also liaise and support the provision of expert and specialist advice regarding work health and safety matters.
It is critical you can demonstrate well-rounded communication and influencing skills in fostering collaborative working relationships with ARTC's regulators and ensure that all regulatory matters and actions are managed in a timely manner, including supporting and facilitating the response to regulatory requests.
A key success factor for the team will be your capability to work collaboratively at all levels, across the ARTC business, to ensure opportunities for improvement are identified and actioned to continually improve WHS and rail safety. Personally, your advice will be proactively sought as a subject matter expert across a broad range of work health and safety matters to the ARTC business and provide functional safety support to ARTC teams as required.
Ideally you will have a well-rounded career history in rail safety; however, experience in heavy engineering, infrastructure, or mining and energy environments with a deep understanding of regulatory frameworks would also be highly regarded and sought after. Tertiary or relevant industry qualifications are highly desirable.
