Regulatory Compliance Officer Temporary Opportunity 9 Months You're someone who wants to create outcomes that have a real impact on the people of NSW.

In this role, you'll:
Be working as part of a team delivering high-level reviews, inspections and preliminary investigations into third party programs ensuring they adhere to the TfNSW principles and regulations. Undertake investigations and audits with a variety of scheme participants in the field ensuring compliance. Utilise your good eye for detail and investigative skills while engaging with persons who are authorised examiner motor mechanics or other regulatory program participants and attending their place of business to examine their operations to assure adherence to rules and legislation. Please Note: This is a fixed term full-time role based in the Parramatta Office covering a Long Service Leave absence until 1 August 2025.
About you
Your enthusiasm and tactful approach along with your excellent communication skills formed while working in a regulatory environment, the police or military will see you equipped with the necessary skills to excel in this role where your investigative skills and ability to "think outside the box" will lead to successful outcomes. You're recognised as being a great communicator with analytical skills, skilled at working autonomously and as part of a team, with the ability to plan and schedule your work effectively to achieve the best outcomes for the unit and ultimately safer roads in NSW.
Please note this role is not financial auditing/compliance and does not require an accounting qualification as it relates directly to TfNSW regulatory schemes where individuals have been authorised to act on behalf of TfNSW in a number of operational areas and requires the successful candidate to possess good eye for detail and investigative skills and will involve travel and work outside normal hours of work.
