Regulatory Compliance and Governance Manager Our client is a large financial services institution uplifting their compliance, risk and governance teams.
Reporting to the Head of Group Compliance, this role will be involved in building and embedding the compliance frameworks and play a business partnering role providing compliance monitoring, oversight, and advisory services across relevant regulatory obligations.
Key responsibilities will include:
Providing compliance and regulatory advice to internal stakeholders Reviewing and approving marketing materials, product disclosures, advertising and training materials Assisting in the building, implementation and continuous improvement of the Compliance Framework Conducting 2nd line assurance and monitoring across the business Designing and presenting compliance training and awareness programs across the business Participating in ad-hoc projects as compliance and regulatory subject matter expert Providing compliance insights and escalations to senior leaders, Board and Committees The ideal candidate will have:
5-7 years' experience in legal, compliance, risk or audit within financial services Experience reviewing marketing materials and product disclosures Excellent communication and relationship building skills with the ability to influence at all levels Driven, dynamic and switched-on attitude looking for growth and progression Curious mindset, problem solver, ability to find gaps and come up with solutions, able to work in a changing environment The organisation is going through significant growth; this role will suit a candidate with high levels of drive, curiosity and ability to work with ambiguity.
