Regulatory Compliance and Governance ManagerOur client is a large financial services institution uplifting their compliance, risk and governance teams.Reporting to the Head of Group Compliance, this role will be involved in building and embedding the compliance frameworks and play a business partnering role providing compliance monitoring, oversight, and advisory services across relevant regulatory obligations.
Key responsibilities will include: Providing compliance and regulatory advice to internal stakeholdersReviewing and approving marketing materials, product disclosures, advertising and training materialsAssisting in the building, implementation and continuous improvement of the Compliance FrameworkConducting 2nd line assurance and monitoring across the businessDesigning and presenting compliance training and awareness programs across the businessParticipating in ad-hoc projects as compliance and regulatory subject matter expertProviding compliance insights and escalations to senior leaders, Board and CommitteesThe ideal candidate will have: 5-7 years' experience in legal, compliance, risk or audit within financial servicesExperience reviewing marketing materials and product disclosuresExcellent communication and relationship building skills with the ability to influence at all levelsDriven, dynamic and switched-on attitude looking for growth and progressionCurious mindset, problem solver, ability to find gaps and come up with solutions, able to work in a changing environmentThe organisation is going through significant growth; this role will suit a candidate with high levels of drive, curiosity and ability to work with ambiguity.
