We have operations in over 60 countries and as we grow, we keep our founders' entrepreneurial spirit intact, creating a world of opportunity.We are driven by our five core values: partnership, freedom to act, entrepreneurship, integrity & trust, and financial discipline.The Health, Safety, Environment, Quality, Regulatory (HSEQR) team ensures and further develops compliance of IMCD regarding regulatory, quality, and broader ethical and sustainability requirements.About the roleReporting to the HSEQR Manager, our new Regulatory & Compliance Specialist will liaise with internal and external stakeholders to provide regulatory advice and assist in new product registrations, predominately within Beauty & PC and Pharma divisions.Responsibilities include:Create, monitor and maintain Safety Data Sheets including classification of materials to current legislations.Apply knowledge of TGA and AICIS regulations when assessing product compliances for the creation and maintenance of product documentation, taking consideration for end use legislative requirements across the different business divisions.Respond to regulatory inquiries raised by any government agency, industry body or company agent.Ensure IMCD's product regulatory requirements are satisfied by the maintenance of appropriate documentation.Maintain regulatory compliance procedures and instructions.Monitor and raise changes in regulations or compliance requirements that impact IMCD or our stakeholders.About youQualification: Tertiary Qualification in Science, Chemistry, or equivalent, or extensive experience in the industry.Experience: Prior experience in a similar role in the TGA and/or AICIS space is essential, exposure to regulatory, legislative and importing requirements would put you a step above the rest.Well-developed communication skills: You will be communicating and building relationships across all levels within and outside IMCD.A can-do attitude: Our values are central to all that we do.
