Regulatory Analyst, Housing, Local Government, Planning and Public WorksRegulatory Services' dedicated team is passionate about ensuring all Queenslanders have a safe, secure and affordable home.
We are looking for new people to join our compliance team to help administer legislation that impacts on providers of community housing, residential services (including boarding houses, supported accommodation hostels and aged rental facilities), residential parks and retirement villages.
As a regulatory analyst (compliance officer), your role will be to work closely with regulated accommodation providers across the state to help them meet their obligations.
You will assist providers to become registered under their appropriate regulatory schemes, conduct accreditation audits (desktop and in the field), undertake compliance site inspections to ensure providers throughout Queensland are providing quality services, and conduct investigations.
Key duties will include: Undertaking assessments and analysis of organisational and business specific policies, procedures, forms, registers and other evidence documents related to the registration, accreditation and compliance of organisations and the commission of offences under the associated Acts.Preparation of reports, submissions, briefs, memoranda and correspondence in relation to complex or sensitive registration, accreditation and compliance issues in the sector.Initiating corrective or enforcement action where necessary.Conducting investigations as required.Please refer to the role description for further detail.
