Let's grow together. Main responsibilities and key tasks As a member of the global regulatory team , you will: Keep up to date on national, regional (EU, North-America, Australia) legislation. Ensure our complete product offering is compliant with the relevant legislation. Provide regulatory input on new product developments. Alert the business on changes in relevant legislation (chemical, sustainability,...) and the impact this will have on the product portfolio. Assist the business in implementing the necessary changes, ensuring compliance. For this, you work in a project-based environment. Carry out other related regulatory affairs missions, e.g. related to packaging, taxes, Extended Producer Responsibility. As a member of the corporate core team of the strategically important Chemical Data Management Project , you will: Be a key team member during the pilot project and will be pivotal during the full roll out within the global group over the next years. Streamline and digitalize regulatory and business requirements on chemical substances. Assess, input, and validate chemical data. Facilitate the implementation of the project to a large community of BIG colleagues by organizing training, internal communication, and documentation. Competencies and skills Relevant Master or Bachelor degree (chemistry, engineering, sustainability...) with a first work experience. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Business & solution minded. Capable of working on several concurrent projects/products. Able to absorb and translate information into practical output. Team player. Able to work independently on given assignments. Languages Proficiency in both English and French is required. Dutch is an asset.
