As a Regulatory Affairs Advisor, you will play a pivotal role in building and managing key relationships with regulators, market bodies, and industry leaders.
Your expertise will support our strategic objectives by advocating for EA's business positions, participating in industry forums, and driving positive outcomes in market development.
You will be instrumental in managing EA's relationships with stakeholders, ensuring we stay ahead of regulatory changes, and identifying opportunities to navigate risks effectively.

About the Role As the Regulatory Affairs Advisor, some of your key responsibilities will include the following:
Engage with regulators, market bodies, government departments, industry groups, and other key stakeholders to deliver optimal regulatory outcomes for the business.Effectively communicate and influence, through written and oral communications, external regulatory outcomes by advocating EnergyAustralia's positions.Monitor the external regulatory environment to identify issues that may impact EnergyAustralia's business.
Communicate internally to enable the development of appropriate response strategies.Co-ordinate internal reporting on regulatory activity and changes in the regulatory environment.Support leads, and where appropriate, establish EA's position on emerging regulatory issues.Assist in the development of strategies to influence industry changes to align with EA's strategy.Act as EnergyAustralia's interface with the Australian Energy Market Operator (AEMO).How can you support the Clean Energy Transition To be successful in this role, you will have the following:
Tertiary education in a relevant field, for example, Economics, Commerce, Engineering, or Law.Experience in energy regulation or policy.Concise and effective communicator with the capacity to influence across a range of audiences (both technical and non-technical).Strong problem-solving ability, which can understand the detail while delivering on the bigger picture.Ability to work effectively in an inclusive, respectful team environment.If you share our passion for a clean energy future for all and want to join us #Doing.
