D'Arcy Weil is seeking a Regulatory Advisor to work as a contractor with our client in the energy sector.
You Regulatory Advisor will play a pivotal role in guiding regulatory compliance and strategy within the energy sector. This position requires a thorough understanding of regulatory frameworks and the ability to navigate complex compliance requirements. The successful candidate will work closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure adherence to all relevant regulations and policies.
Key Responsibilities
Monitor and interpret regulatory developments affecting the energy sector. Advise internal stakeholders on regulatory requirements and implications. Develop and implement compliance strategies and procedures. Conduct risk assessments and identify potential regulatory issues. Liaise with regulatory bodies and industry associations. Prepare and submit regulatory filings and reports. Ensure timely compliance with all regulatory obligations. Provide training and support on regulatory matters to internal teams. Develop and maintain relationships with key regulatory contacts. Review and update compliance documentation and policies. Assist in audits and inspections by regulatory authorities. Conduct internal audits to ensure ongoing compliance. Collaborate with legal and policy teams on regulatory initiatives. Analyse market data to assess regulatory impact. Report on compliance activities to senior management.
Qualifications Required:
Bachelor's degree in Law, Business, Economics, or related field. Extensive experience in regulatory compliance within the energy sector. In-depth knowledge of energy regulations and policies. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
