We're seeking an individual who can thrive in a changing environment and can play a pivotal role in TasNetworks' Regulation Team.
You will lead the pricing of TasNetworks' regulated distribution network and develop the pricing strategy, including the design of new network tariffs. You will undertake analysis of the network and participate in forums to provide expert advice to our key stakeholders.
This role will require forecasting, modelling and quantitative analysis skills to support the development of our prices, and the continued development of TasNetworks' pricing analytical capability. You will need to consider impacts on customers, emerging energy technologies, our regulatory requirements, risk and commercial feasibility.
Band 5 - Salary range $104,284 - $147,238 per annum (plus super) - this role is seeking an experienced candidate and salary will be negotiable for the right person About youWe are looking for someone that has commercial acumen to understand and apply the dynamics of the Australian Energy Industry and National Electricity Market.
You will be quantitative in style, with experience and knowledge in solving business issues and customer concerns. You will be a natural with problem solving and analysis and will have stakeholder management skills.
Working effectively within the pricing team, you will lead tasks and projects as requested and demonstrate the ability to work autonomously on complex issues and provide timely expert advice.
Relevant tertiary qualifications that include a numerical/analytical component (e.g.; commerce, economics, engineering).
