The objectives of this position are to assist in the management of business coming before the Court and to contribute to the Court by providing clerical support associated with the day-to-day operations of the Registry of the Supreme Court.

Duties Provide assistance to the Registry Team Leaders in undertaking administrative and clerical functions associated with the day-to-day operations of the Registry.Ensure the accurate and timely maintenance and entry of information into Supreme Court databases.Check that documentation submitted complies with legislative requirements. With a focus on accuracy, undertake efficient processing of documentation and files, issue invoices and receipts, undertake searches and attend to general correspondence and enquiries.Settle orders and judgments in accordance with the Supreme Court rules, practices and procedures.Provide procedural advice to internal and external clients including advice in relation to procedures under acts, regulations, rules, practice directions, and policies applicable in the Supreme CourtUndertake other duties as may be required from time to time, including act as an Associate to a Judge or Associate to the Associate Judge.Contribute to the achievement of team objectives by working in a small multi-skilled team.The incumbent can expect to be allocated duties, not specifically mentioned in this document, that are within the capacity, qualifications, and experience normally expected from persons occupying jobs at this classification level.Pre-employment Checks The Head of State Service has determined that the person nominated for this vacancy is to satisfy a pre-employment check before taking up the appointment, promotion or transfer.
