Hours per fortnight 73.50 hours per fortnight - flexible options available.  Duties Working within a team of the Launceston Supreme Court Registry to receive and respond to members of the public, the legal profession, Tasmania Police and clerical staff for all general enquires for the Registry via the front count, telephone and electronic means. Entry and preparation of all court documents into a range of computerised databases, for the Civil and the Criminal jurisdictions. Receive and receipt court related fee payments including cash, cheques and EFTPOS and daily balancing. Filing and general duties within the registry of Launceston as required. Ensure the proper and accurate recording of court proceedings and associated correspondence and administration of jury service for the region. Pre-employment Checks The Head of State Service has determined that the person nominated for this vacancy is to satisfy a pre-employment check before taking up the appointment, promotion or transfer.

• Arson and fire setting
• Violent crimes and crimes against the person
• Sex-related offences
• Drug and alcohol related offences
• Crimes involving dishonesty
• Crimes involving deception
• Making false declarations
• Malicious damage and destruction to property
• Serious traffic offences
• Crimes against public order or relating to the Administration of Law and Justice
• Crimes against Executive or the Legislative Power
• Crimes involving Conspiracy
2. Disciplinary action in previous employment.
3. Identification check.
