The Registrations Coordinator will coordinate all FV playing and non-playing participant registrations while providing customer support during the crucial registrations period and new PlayFootball v2.0 roll-out. The Registrations Coordinator is required to actively deliver customer service to stakeholders via in-bound and out-bound calls, along with email. The role sits within the Community Competitions team and the wider Football Operations function. Together the objectives of the Community Football team are achieved.
Key responsibilities and focus for this role include:
Coordinate all enquiries in relation to the process of registration for Football Victoria through having an understanding of the registration process and the categories of registrations required to participate in Senior and Junior Community Competitions. This includes understanding the ITC process, FV's Registration Rules of Competitions, key registration and transfer season dates and the status of registered players as defined by FV's registration system.
Coordinate and facilitate the roll-out of new Let's PlayFootball system.
Providing telephone and email support to all FV stakeholders, including Clubs, players, parents and other participants using the PlayFootball v2.0 online registration system.
Deliver exceptional customer service through phone and email interactions, with customer service placed at the forefront.
Respond to all stakeholder queries in a timely and professional manner with accuracy and relevance.
Deliver training of the PlayFootball v2.0 registration system to FV stakeholders and staff.
Coordinate the scheduling and delivery of FV's PlayFootball v2.0 Club training sessions, including working withClubs on their annual administrator approvals.
Upholding of Football Australia's National Registration, Status and Transfer Regulations and Football Victoria's Registration Regulations.
Building and maintain strong relationships with all FV stakeholders.
Work closely with other team members and departments to assist with their requirements pertaining to the system.
Developing sound understanding of the registration system and processes.
Triage stakeholder concerns and conflicts in a professional and timely manner.
Provide support to the wider business where required.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
Tertiary qualification in sports administration/management or relevant discipline is desirable.
Thorough understanding and demonstrated experience of registrations-based administration in the sports industry.
Demonstrable passion for the organisation's vision, mission, and core values.
Knowledge and understanding of sporting club structures.
Proven ability to work with varying IT platforms and database management systems to deliver a service.
Ability to manage conflicting priorities within time constraints.
Demonstrated experience in negotiating and managing a diverse range of customers.
Strong interpersonal skills and willing to embrace a strong team environment.
A thorough understanding and proven ability and desire to develop the game of Football.
Proficient experience with MS Packages.
Exposure to registration management online software is preferable.
This role also requires:
A current Working with Children Check or willingness to obtain one.
Current driver's license.
This position requires varying hours and weekend work and as such a preparedness to work non-traditional hours and weekend work is required.
Travel is primarily local during business days; some out-of-the-area and overnight travel may be expected.

We currently employ over 60 staff to deliver on the FV Strategic Plan ("OurFootball") and administration of weekly football matches, producing annual football fixtures and appropriate rules of competition. Referees are also appointed to these matches to facilitate a safer and more enjoyable participation experience.
We also deliver education programs and resources to talent pathways, coaches, referees and club volunteers while promoting the game through various channels, keeping our members informed regularly through a dedicated communications program.
We currently call the Home of the Matildas/State Football Centre home in Bundoora, 25 minutes north of Melbourne CBD and have access to a state of the art facility, including an accessible gym and field amenities.
