VCID No. 922400 Child and Adolescent Health Service 2025 Medical Intake This is a Recruitment Pool for Fixed Term Full Time, Fixed Term Part Time and Casual appointments for 6 - 12 months with the possibility of extension(s). Position Profile and Role:
Neonatology cares for the sickest newborn babies, infants who are born preterm and babies requiring specialist treatment in their first months of life. Successful applicants will have the skills to manage inpatients, outpatients, and emergency patients under the supervision of Neonatology Specialists.
About Neonatology:
The Neonatology Department is composed of several specialized units:
KEMH Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, situated in Subiaco, stands as the largest tertiary/quaternary perinatal NICU in Australia. Approximately 2,200 babies who are born preterm, need respiratory support or require other intensive treatment are admitted to the King Edward Memorial Hospital (KEMH) NICU each year.PCH Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, located within the Queen Elizabeth II Medical Centre site in Nedlands, serves as the sole tertiary surgical NICU in Western Australia.Newborn Emergency Transport Service (NETS WA), situated at PCH, is intricately involved in the retrieval and transport of ill newborns from both metropolitan and regional areas of Western Australia.To Apply:
