Department of Health Hospitals & Primary Care - Hospitals Nth Primary Health North Applications must be submitted by Sunday 29 September, 2024 11:55 PM AEST Award/Classification: Medical Practitioners Agreement 2022, Medical Practitioner Level 5-11 (Registrar) $131,000 to $183,500 per annum Employment type: Full Time Region: North Location: LGH Charles Street, Launceston The Role: The Registrar/Senior Registrar is responsible for the day-to-day management of palliative private and public inpatients and outpatients within the Launceston General Hospital and provision of medical support to palliative clients in the community and the Melwood Specialist Palliative Care Unit, as required.
The position is an accredited training position for the Diploma of Palliative Medicine and for advanced training in Palliative Medicine.
Details of Appointment: Fixed Term, full time, day worker position working 76 hours per fortnight, commencing from 10 February 2025 until 6 February 2026.
Notwithstanding hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant.
Successful applicants will be required to meet the essential criteria: General or limited registration with the Medical Board of Australia.
Applicants should note the following criteria are desirable: Current Driver's Licence.
