About the opportunity:Position: Registrar / Principal House Officer - Surgery
Vacancy: Fixed term temporary full-time, 12 months, 03/02/2025 to 01/02/2026
Location: General Surgery, Townsville University Hospital
The Townsville University Hospital is a 700 plus bed hospital.
There is a wide range of General Surgical procedures performed with Surgeons having subspecialty interests.
Subspecialty referrals are received from other centres in North Queensland.
The hospital has an intensive care unit, radiology department with interventional capability and the full range of Surgical and Medical specialty groups.

Salary range: $4966.90 to $5758.70 p.f.

Hepatitis A/B, Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis and Tuberculosis.Probation period may apply.Pre-employment checks will be conducted including criminal history clearance.Please refer to the Role Description for further details.
