About your opportunity:
Fixed term temporary full-time or part-time (hours negotiable) / 12 months / Location: Townsville The primary function of the position is to provide high quality clinical care to patients who are referred to the Palliative Care Service of the Townsville University Hospital.
Participate in the ongoing development of Palliative Care Services within the Townsville University Hospital and the surrounding Health Service of North Queensland.
In addition, the Registrar will provide supervision of junior medical staff, including some responsibility for providing teaching to junior medical staff and medical students. A Comprehensive post graduate training program is conducted at the Townsville University Hospital.

Generous remuneration package value up to $182,106 p.a. (full-time) comprising:Salary range of $4966.90 to $6980.10 p.f (full-time). (L4-L13)Salary range of $65.35 to $91.84 p.h. Candidate Requirements:
Advance Life Support Certificate is desirable and will need to be completed upon appointment if not previously held.Degree Qualifications from a recognised tertiary institution and hold Current Registration as a medical practitioner or eligible for Current Registration with the Medical Board of Australia.Successful completion of at least two years post-registration training.This is a Vaccine Preventable Diseases (VPD) risk role: Hepatitis A/B, Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, and Pertussis.Aged Care Pre-Employment Screening: Applicants are advised this position works in an identified Aged Care Facility as per the Aged Care Act 1997 and therefore requires employees and volunteers to have a current National Police Certificate.
