The Launceston General Hospital is currently recruiting for Senior Paediatric Registrar and Paediatric Registrar jobs for 2025! With the implementation of the new EBA providing competitive wages and paid education time, there is no better time to work in Tasmania.
We are a regional hospital with a brand new and exciting Paediatric short stay unit, as well as a 34 bed General Paediatric ward, 12 bed Level 2 neonatal nursery, and Paediatric outpatients. The unit is staffed 24 hours a day by registrars and HMO staff, with consultant oversight on site during working hours, and on call overnight. The current staffing includes 9 registrars/HMO, a Senior Registrar, and 7 paediatric consultants.
