Registrar or Principal House Officer (Cancer Care) Location: Cancer Care Services, Hervey Bay Hospital (Other positions at Bundaberg may also be filled through this Recruitment process), QLD Description: Remuneration: A competitive package up to $175,370 p.a., comprising a salary between $129,583 - $150,240 p.a.
(L4-L9), employer superannuation contribution (up to 12.75%), annual leave loading (17.5%), and a vocational training subsidy.
(Temporary Full-Time, 76 hours per fortnight, from the date of appointment for up to 12 months, with the possibility of extension.
Applications will remain current for 12 months.)
Role Overview The primary purpose of this position is to provide patient management supervision within the ambulatory setting of Cancer Care Services.
This role will involve delivering medical oncology services as part of the Cancer Care Services program.
Key Responsibilities Provide support for Medical Oncology patients in the Day Oncology Unit.
Offer consultation services to clinical areas within the Wide Bay Hospital and Health Service.
Participate in ward rounds, clinics, meetings, and other clinical duties as required.
Work under the supervision of a Staff Specialist or Senior Staff Specialist (Medical Oncology).
