We are seeking a motivated Registrar – Palliative Care. Accredited in 2023 with a site visit. ACRRM Registrars can also do 6 months training as Foundations in Palliative Medicine (previously Diploma of Palliative Medicine).Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP) - 6 months Extended Skills training and 12 months Advanced Skills training. Rural Generalist training is also accredited. Registrars can complete the Foundations in Palliative Medicine (previously Diploma of Palliative Medicine).RACP - accreditation for Foundations in Palliative Medicine (previously Diploma of Palliative Medicine). Accredited for Advanced Trainees in Palliative Medicine for Core Term 2 Community and Elective Term.THS – North West Region also has a close working relationship with the University of Tasmania's Rural Clinical School.Details of appointment:Multiple, Fixed term, full time, day worker position, working up to 76 hours per fortnight, commencing from 3 February 2025 until 1 February 2026. You will receive 10 hours of paid, protected training time per fortnight, pro rata.Medical Practitioner Level 5 - 11 $131,000 - $183,500 per annum, pro rata + 11.5% superannuation + access to salary packaging.Successful applicants will be required to meet the essential criteria:General or limited registration with the Medical Board of Australia.Enrolled in the relevant specialty training program.Registration/licences that are essential requirements of this role must remain current and valid at all times whilst employed in this role and the status of these may be checked at any time during employment.
