Location Information:
This health service is located in South Australia's largest regional prison, which contains an accommodation unit dedicated to Aboriginal prisoners, enhancing the ability to provide culturally specific programs and allow cultural interaction amongst offenders. The prison is situated in a small city, formerly a seaport, offering all the conveniences and facilities expected from a modern city with a population of 13,985 residents. The city is located on the quiet waterways at the head of the Spencer Gulf and is in close proximity to the spectacular Flinders Ranges.
