Registrar – Emergency Medicine

Further develop your clinical expertise by working alongside many supportive Senior Emergency Physicians, Specialists as an Emergency Registrar. The role rotates through day and night shifts.

Responsibilities and duties include: • Provide high quality care and advice on the management of patients presenting to the Emergency Department
• Provide, coordinate and facilitate diagnosis, patient management and discharge planning, including provision of accurate, timely and legible medical records, including medical reports and discharge summaries
• Participate in continuous medical education, including teaching, professional development, research, quality improvement activities The Facility:

Eligibility: 1. General, Provisional or limited registration with AHPRA or eligible to obtain
2. IMG's that have completed at least the AMC MCQ (part 1) or completed both AMC 1 & 2 (clinical exam)
3. IMG's eligible via the Competent Authority Pathway (training in the UK, USA, NZ, Canada or Ireland)
4. IMG's assessed by ACEM College as partially or substantially comparable (doctors currently interviewing with ACEM may express their interest)
