Our practice is based in scenic Camden, with all consultation rooms well-appointed and enjoying natural light.
The practice is within walking distance to cafes, parks, gyms and all the facilities Camden has to offer.
Team members enjoy flexible working conditions, with the option to work remotely if preferred.
Psychologists are supported by full time administrative staff, peer support, supervision and share clinical resources.
Our practice has a strong referral base, and there is opportunity for applicants to focus on child and adolescent psychology, adult psychology, couples therapy and/or specific areas.
Positions are available for both a Registrar Clinical Psychologist and experienced Clinical or Registered Psychologist to join our team.
Hours and days are flexible, and we are happy to consider part-time or full-time arrangements.
Registrar Clinical Psychologist Position
Reid Clinical Psychology have enjoyed supporting Registrar Clinical Psychologists since 2014.
We provide a supportive team environment with provision of weekly individual supervision and fortnightly group supervision, facilitating learning through case discussions with experienced psychologists with a wealth of different experiences and therapy approaches.
Starting work as an independent psychologist can be daunting, and we are able to provide both clinical supervision and guidance in terms of managing caseloads and balancing direct client work with administrative tasks, professional liaison and ongoing learning.
We invite applications for this position at any time, with the understanding that commencement will be delayed until AHPRA registration is completed.
Applicants part-way through their registrar program are also welcome.
Clinical or Registered Psychologist Position
This position would be suitable for a self-motivated and skilled psychologist wishing to join a collegial environment.
Our team have worked together for many years, enjoying the balance of working autonomously whilst also benefiting from the support of individual/peer and/or group supervision, sharing of ideas and resources and the connectedness of working together rather than in isolation.
Renumeration and Organisational Setting
Reid Clinical Psychology provides support for psychologists to be autonomous in their private practice.
In compliance with industry legislation and taxation system guidelines, psychologists are not deemed to be contractors.
There are no KPIs or restrictions/expectations of how many clients psychologists see on any particular day.
A very competitive professional service fee is charged, which provides for comprehensive admin services, use of facilities, sharing of resources, referral pathways, invoice management and client file software.

Essential Criteria
Completion (or near completion) of a Masters or Doctorate level degree in Clinical Psychology; or completion of Registered Psychologist training.
Experience and expertise in psychological assessment and best practice interventions
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Good organizational skills
Present with warmth and flexibility
A commitment to ethically-based practice
Registration with the Psychology Board of Australia
