Latrobe Regional Health (LRH) is currently seeking dedicated professionals to join our team. We have a number of part time, fixed term positions of 0.2EFT per fortnight currently available until the end of June 2025.
The Registered Undergraduate Student of Nursing works as a support to the health care team, assisting Registered Nurses to provide delegated aspects of patient care. Elements of direct and indirect patient care will be delegated in accordance with the professional judgement of the supervising Registered Nurse, and in accordance with the acceptable Registered Undergraduate Student of Nursing activities as indicated in the ANMF.
Levels of achieved educational preparation and assessed competence, of the individual Registered Undergraduate Student of Nursing will be taken into account with Unit/Ward allocation.
The Registered Undergraduate Student of Nursing will be allocated to a specific Unit/Ward for the duration of their employment and will work in accordance with the on-duty team, with the Unit Manager or ANUM identifying Registered Nurses for Registered Undergraduate Student of Nursing staff to assist.
About you Ideal candidates for this role will have:
Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a Student Nurse. Demonstrated satisfactory academic progress in the Bachelor of Nursing (Credit or above for all subjects and competency in clinical placements preferred, but not essential). Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proven ability to work effectively in a team and independently as required.
