Registered Surveyor: Northern Rivers, NSW We are seeking an experienced Registered Surveyor to join a leading construction firm in Northern Rivers.
This role will involve managing survey tasks on large-scale civil and commercial projects, including bulk earthworks, roads, drainage, and utilities.
You will work closely with the project team to ensure the delivery of accurate, timely survey data throughout various stages of construction.
Key Responsibilities: Manage and oversee all survey tasks on-site, including setting out works for pavements, earthworks, drainage, and services.
Operate and maintain machine control systems for construction activities.
Conduct topographical, feature, and as-built surveys.
Capture, analyze, and manipulate survey data to generate accurate reports and drawings.
Collaborate with project engineers, contractors, and site supervisors to ensure smooth operations.
About You: Registered Surveyor with the Surveyors Board of Queensland, or registration as an Associate Surveyor , Graduate Surveyor , or higher is highly regarded.
Bachelor's degree in Surveying or a related engineering field.
5+ years of experience in surveying within commercial and civil construction projects.
Previous exposure to 12d software will be highly regarded.
Operating knowledge of Trimble or Leica Survey equipment is essential.
Experience with Leica P-series or RTC Laser scanners and Leica Cyclone software is advantageous.
Previous experience with Department of Transport and Main Roads surveys is a plus.
Strong technical knowledge in GPS, total stations, and data analysis.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
Current Queensland driver's license .
