About the role We are seeking applications from dedicated and suitably qualified psychologists for the part-time (0.8 FTE) position of Registered Psychologist at our school. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the mental, emotional, and social wellbeing of our students, fostering their personal growth and overall development.
Minimum Requirements: Fully registered as a psychologist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).Hold or are eligible for membership with the Australian Psychological Society (APS) or the Australian Association of Psychologists (AAPI).Have a valid NSW Working With Children Check (WWCC).Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.Passionate and committed to supporting and improving the wellbeing of children and young people.Experience working with children and young people.Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, with the ability to develop effective relationships with students, families, teachers, and school leadership.Experience in assessment and facilitating interventions for children and young people with developmental, cognitive, social, and emotional needs.Specialised training or qualifications in educational psychology, child and adolescent psychology, or school psychology will be highly regarded.Demonstrated experience working as a psychologist, with a preference for experience in NSW schools or educational settings (primary, secondary, or special education).Tyndale is committed to safeguarding and promoting the safety, welfare, and wellbeing of children and young people.
