Psychology, Counselling & Social Work (Healthcare & Medical) Full-time position for a Registered Psychologist to conduct ADHD, SLD, ASD, and IDD assessments in Subiaco. Being a Registered Psychologist preferred but will consider a Provisional Psychologist especially if nearing full registration. Those who have just received Full Registration are encouraged to apply. Training can be provided, so experience in assessing the aforementioned disorders is not necessary, but as always, some experience would be a bonus.
Could begin immediately, in a few weeks, or even at the start of 2025. Daily activities involve conducting cognitive and educational assessments for investigating ADHD, Autism, Specific Learning Disorder, and Intellectual Developmental Disorder and writing the reports for these assessments.
Specifically, tasks will involve:
Cognitive and Educational assessment administration, scoring, and report writing (i.e., WPPSI, WISC, WAIS, WIAT, etc). Taking background information at initial interview and providing feedback and interpretation of results. Must have a liking for assessment as we don't provide any counselling/intervention services apart from the psycho-education/feedback of the results and recommendations.
Sound computer skills, fast typing speed, and experience with Microsoft Word is desirable.
Experience administering the WISC/WIAT/WAIS via iPad Q Interactive would be an advantage.
