St John Ambulance is looking for enthusiastic and passionate people to join our growing team of registered Paramedics. As a registered Paramedic you will provide emergency care to passengers who fall sick or are injured on Sydney train station platforms during peak travel times.We are looking for people to work weekdays, Monday to Friday, with shifts available 6 -10 am (morning) and 2 -7 pm (afternoon). You can choose shifts that suit your availability and preferences whilst fitting your lifestyle and commitments. Casual, part-time and full-time vacancies are on offer.This is a flexible and rewarding role that allows you to use your skills and experience as a paramedic in a dynamic and diverse environment.Key Responsibilities:Providing health services to patients within clinical scope.Ensuring patient care recording and incident reporting is completed within allocated time frames.Active surveillance and patrol of Sydney train stations, including risk mitigation, identifying and escalating safety hazards, and identifying and providing early intervention of vulnerable persons.Holding and answering the train station paramedic mobile phone.Following directions of Sydney Trains supervisors.Successful applicants:Have a minimum 6 months clinical experience as a Registered Paramedic with an Australian state ambulance service.Hold an unrestricted AHPRA Registration.Possess a current Working with Children Check and current Criminal Record Check.Demonstrate the ability to build trusting relationships in a minimal amount of time.Communicate information, both verbally and in writing, clearly, concisely and professionally.Focused on providing excellent customer service while achieving outstanding health outcomes.Take a role you can be proud of:St John Ambulance is Australia's most trusted first aid charity.
