Are you an experienced Registered Nurse with excellent interpersonal and customer service skills, and a passion for delivering high quality patient care?
We are seeking applications from Registered Nurses with experience in Surgical Nursing across our specialised surgical wards such as Orthopaedics, General Surgery, ENT, Paediatrics, Neurosurgery, Gynaecology and Plastics.
Currently we have vacancies across our Victoria locations that include:
Holmesglen Private Hospital, Moorabbin VIC 3189John Fawkner Private Hospital, Coburg VIC 3058La Trobe Private Hospital, Bundoora VIC 3083Northpark Private Hospital, Bundoora VIC 3083We are seeking to recruit experienced Registered Nurses to join our Surgical departments in various roles, in a fulltime, part time or casual capacity. A fantastic opportunity in the private healthcare community for highly motivated candidates with extensive skill sets and a passion for delivering outstanding care.
As a Registered Nurse (Surgical), your responsibilities will include: Deliver safe, researched-based standards of nursing careSupervise, direct and guide nursing team members; Enrolled Nurses (ENs) and Assistants in Nursing (AINs) to deliver patient careDeliver education and support to individuals/patients for the management of their health recovery, rehabilitation or end of life needsLead successful quality improvement and safety management project/s to deliver desired outcomesWork collaboratively with the wider healthcare team to support patient care needsAct as a role model for Safe PracticeMinimum 2 years' Registered Nursing in an acute surgical environmentWorking with Children checkBachelor of Science (Nursing) or equivalentCurrent Registration (no restriction) with AHPRAPost Graduate Certificate or working towards in relevant specialty (Desirable)Compliance with ACQSHC National standardsClinical expertise and commitment to high quality patient care and continuous improvementSelf-motivated and proven ability to work as part of a high functioning teamExcellent interpersonal and communication skillsProactive, motivated and customer focusedTo Apply: Please click on the 'Apply' button to be taken to our online application form. If you are successful, you will receive a salary based on your years of relevant nursing experience against the current nursing Enterprise Agreement the "Healthscope - Victoria - Nurses' and Midwives' Agreement" (salaries range between $36.13 and $48.32 per hour).

Applicants will be required to provide a current National Police check, WWCC (where applicable) and Evidence of right to work in Australia prior to appointment. Staff in patient contact roles will be required to provide proof of immunity to specified infectious diseases as a Category A Healthcare worker.
