Summary - About The Role We are seeking dedicated and experienced Remote Area Nurses for short contracts to provide health care services to remote communities. The ideal candidate will be passionate about making a difference in underserved areas and capable of working autonomously and within a dynamic team in challenging environments.
Competitive base rate up to $85 / per hour + Penalties + Super

As a Registered Nurse, Your Responsibilities Will Include: Conducting and documenting comprehensive assessments of patients' physical, cognitive, and psychosocial needs upon admission and during care as required for specialty area. Developing individualised care plans based on patients' assessment data, treatment goals, and preferences, collaborating with patients, their families, and interdisciplinary healthcare team members to create holistic care plans. Administering medications safely and accurately according to physician orders and institutional protocols and monitoring patients for adverse reactions or side effects and taking appropriate action as needed. Evaluating patients' progress toward goals and modifying care plans as necessary to promote optimal outcomes. Collaborating and communicating effectively with members of the healthcare team to coordinate patient care and ensure continuity of care. Communicating patient information, changes in condition, and care plans clearly and concisely during handoffs and shift changes and referring when required. Understanding of patient safety and quality education and delivery of services in accordance with the National Patient Safety and Quality Standards, Work Health & Safety Act, and Ministry of Health risk management frameworks. What We Require From You: Bachelor of Nursing qualification or equivalent AHPRA registration current with NO restrictions or conditions Minimum of 2 years experience in specialty area Able to demonstrate high level of clinical reasoning, critical thinking and evidence-based practice Recognised Postgraduate qualification in specialty area eg ED, ICU, Theatre We look forward to working with you and creating your new and exciting job opportunity.
