Registered Nurses – Rehabilitation | Port MacquarieExciting prospects await motivated and enthusiastic Registered Nurses who are eager to join the professional team of the Rehabilitation Ward at a private hospital in Port Macquarie. Several permanent full-time positions are available.
ABOUT THE ROLE As a Registered Nurse, you will be:
Delivering evidence-based nursing care;Liaising with the multi-disciplinary team;Ensuring patient and staff safety;Supervising, directing, and guiding nursing team members;Providing education and support to patients for the management of their health recovery, rehabilitation, or end-of-life needs.REQUIREMENTS As the successful applicant, you will possess the following attributes:
Current registration with AHPRA;At least 1 year of post-graduate nursing experience;Previous experience in a Rehabilitation setting is desired though not essential;Availability to work across a rotating 7-day roster, including nights and weekends;Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;Proven ability to work effectively in a team and independently as required.REMUNERATION $34.43 - $48.33+ superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances.
ABOUT THE FACILITY The hospital, located in Port Macquarie, is a 72-bed acute Medical/Surgical and Rehab facility with 6 Renal Chairs and a Day Surgery complex. Comprehensive Medical/Surgical services are offered with 24-hour Medical Officer Support, including Orthopaedics, Urology, General Surgery, ENT, Bariatric and Vascular, Plastic & Ophthalmology.
