This role involves providing high-quality care to patients across a variety of conditions, including pre-operative and post-operative care.
You will play a critical role in assessing, planning, and implementing individualized nursing care, ensuring optimal patient outcomes. Key Responsibilities Deliver exceptional nursing care to patients in medical and surgical units. Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans. Administer medications, treatments, and IVs per facility protocols and policies. Monitor and document patient vitals, progress, and treatment responses. Prepare patients for surgical procedures and provide post-operative care. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic patient care. Educate patients and families on treatments, post-surgical care, and recovery plans. Respond promptly to emergency situations using advanced clinical skills. Maintain compliance with infection control and workplace safety standards. Essential Criteria Current and unrestricted AHPRA Registration as a Registered Nurse. Minimum of 3 years' experience in medical-surgical nursing. Demonstrated proficiency in clinical assessments, triage, and care planning. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
