Our 94 bedded aged care facility - "Orana", is located in Kingaroy and offers residential, dementia and respite care. About You To see you successful in this role you will have:
AHPRA (unrestricted) Registered NurseExperience in using aged care software solutionsA passion for elder care and be a strong advocate for providing customer focused clinical careAbility to work a rotating rosterOutstanding interpersonal and communication skillsWell developed skills in group facilitation as well as working one-on-oneMinimum 12 months postgraduate experience desirableFull work rights within AustraliaSponsorship opportunities are available for suitable applicants (Conditions apply)About The Role As a Registered Nurse you will be responsible for:
Providing comprehensive evidence-based nursing care in collaboration with a multidisciplinary health care teamPerforming comprehensive nursing assessments, developing and implementing plans of care in collaboration with a multidisciplinary health care team and evaluating the progress of patient care outcomesExercising sound clinical judgement, critical thinking and ethical decision making processes in the delivery and evaluation of careEnsuring clients and other staff are treated fairly and with mutual respect and understanding, regardless of cultural, religious, ethnic and linguistic backgroundsMaintaining professional skills and knowledge of self and others through participation in continuing education and performance appraisal and developmentProvide guidance and direction to a team of carers and maintain best practice at all times.What We Can Offer You A professional work environment in an organisation that genuinely cares, values dedication and performance.
