Salary packaging up to $30,000Accommodation allowance of $13,000Relocation assistance of up to $5,000 for national candidates and $10,000 for international candidatesAnnual airfare allowance providedFive weeks of annual leaveProfessional development opportunities within Kimberley Renal Services and KAMSGreat career growth initiative within Kimberley Renal Services and KAMSAbout the Opportunity Kimberley Renal Services is seeking qualified and passionate Registered Dialysis Nurses (RN Levels 1 & 2) to join their dedicated teams at Kimberley Renal Services, providing dialysis services across our centres in Kununurra, Derby, and Fitzroy Crossing.
In this role, you will:
Deliver culturally safe nursing care to patients in line with best practice guidelinesProvide support and mentorship to junior staff and participate in team developmentManage a client caseload and contribute to quality improvement initiativesWork collaboratively within the multidisciplinary team to achieve patient-centred careBuilding on the responsibilities of Level 1, RN Level 2 nurses take on additional leadership and clinical oversight roles. In addition to the duties listed above, Level 2 nurses will:
Coordinate shifts and provide support to the clinical teamMentor junior staff with a focus on skill developmentBoth roles offer a unique opportunity to develop remote healthcare and renal care expertise while building meaningful relationships with patients. As part of the roles, candidates should be prepared to occasionally travel to provide medical assistance in nearby areas.
Who are we looking for? To excel in this position, you will:
Hold a Nursing Qualification and current registration with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)Have at least 12 months' experience in haemodialysis nursing or be enrolled in a recognised training programShow a commitment to cultural safety and the philosophy of Aboriginal Community ControlDemonstrate effective interpersonal communication and organisational skillsTo be successful in this role, you will:
Hold a Nursing Qualification and current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)Have a minimum of five years' experience in renal dialysis nursingDemonstrate cultural competence and a commitment to community-led healthcarePossess initiative and a proactive approach to improving patient care and outcomesA renal certificate is highly regarded but not essential for either level.
