Utilising the latest technology and expertise, we offer a Cardiology Centre, orthopaedics, neurosurgery, urology and more.Our expert care team of surgeons, specialist doctors, dedicated nurses and other professionals will ensure that your experience is the best it can be.Areas of responsibility include:Management and education of patients with a complex wound in an inpatient and outpatient setting.Education of undergraduate and post graduate nursing students.Implementation of, and education of staff regarding Pressure Ulcer prevention program.Extensive wound care experience in an acute and or community setting.Understanding of National Safety and Quality Health Service Standards.The successful applicant will have:Advanced skills and experience in wound management, and/or working towards postgraduate wound management qualifications.Membership to AWMA (Australian Wound Management Association) preferable.Excellence in verbal and written communication skills.Ability to work autonomously and as part of a multi-disciplinary team.Strong interest in own ongoing professional development.Hold a current Victorian driver's license.Current Working with Children's Check and Criminal Check.Come and be the difference in our patient's lives.More Information: Our commitment to quality and safety for our patients, staff and visitors is our highest priority.
