This hospital is a fully accredited tertiary facility with 334 beds, providing Emergency Services, Extensive Surgical Specialties, 14 bed ICU, 17 bed CCU, Medical, and a full range of Cardiac Services including two 24-hour Cardiac Catheter Laboratories.

Areas of responsibility include: Management and education of patients with complex wounds in inpatient and outpatient settings.Education of undergraduate and postgraduate nursing students.Implementation of, and education of staff regarding, Pressure Ulcer prevention program.Extensive wound care experience in an acute and/or community setting.Understanding of National Safety and Quality Health Service Standards.The successful applicant will have: Advanced skills and experience in wound management, and/or working towards postgraduate wound management qualifications.Membership to AWMA (Australian Wound Management Association) preferable.Excellence in verbal and written communication skills.Ability to work autonomously and as part of a multi-disciplinary team.Strong interest in ongoing professional development.Hold a current Victorian driver's license.Current Working with Children's Check and Criminal Check.Come and be the difference in our patients' lives.
