About the Care Home Bupa Woodend is a modern care home nestled in the heart of the Macedon Ranges, about an hour north of Melbourne and is surrounded by beautiful bush scenery and gardens. It consists of 107 beds, with respite and dementia care units. Our primary goal is placing our focus on the health, lifestyle and well-being of our residents.

You will utilise your genuine passion for helping others to make a difference to our resident's quality of life. You will be part of a passionate, caring, and extraordinary care team. We have full-time and part-time opportunities available. Duties Lead a care team to deliver the highest quality, person-first care to our residentsPrepare high-quality care plans and assessmentsMaintain quality care documentationEnsure safe medication administration, best practice wound care and clinical support for our residents, in line with resident needs and legislative requirementsSupport the Clinical Care Manager with the management and completion of ACFI assessmentsActively engage in handovers with the Clinical Care Team to ensure continuity of care across shiftsAdhere to all relevant legislative requirements and quality guidelines.Skills and Experience Registration with AHPRA as a Div 1 Registered Nurse – EssentialIdeally 2 – 3 years' experience working within the aged care sectorThe ability to work as part of a tight-knit team and delegate effectivelyExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsA strong understanding of Resident Rights, Aged Care Accreditation Standards and OutcomesHow to Apply Click Apply to be taken to our online application process.
