About GV Health – Waranga Campus:
Located in Rushworth, Waranga Health is a 36-bed aged-care facility. The health service includes a four-bed acute care unit, a district nursing service, outpatient ambulatory consulting services and a dedicated palliative care suite and respite bed. Care and treatment are provided 24 hours a day by a talented multidisciplinary team working across a range of medical, nursing and allied health services.
About the role:
An opportunity exists for a motivated individual to join Waranga Health at Rushworth as a Registered Nurse. The Registered Nurse is responsible for providing patient-centered care in a team environment. The Registered Nurse accepts responsibility for clinical care and after-hours management in the absence of the Associate Nurse Unit Manager and Nurse Unit Manager.
We are looking for:
The successful applicant must have current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse.
The applicant will have well-developed time management and problem-solving skills, the ability to prioritize tasks and work under minimal supervision.
Applicants should also possess excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills and be able to work effectively within a team environment.
Self-motivation with a high level of organizational and time management skills, knowledge of patient management and information systems will be highly regarded.
Previous experience in aged care is desirable.
