This is an opportunity for RNs and ENs to work permanent full time, in a friendly supported team with flexible working hours.
Part time hours may be considered; however, a minimum of 30 hours per week is required to ensure continuity of learning.
Commencing 10th February 2025, the program will run over a 6 month period. Course Structure: You will be supported through a period of orientation and supernumerary time on commencing work within the Cath Lab complex.
This includes theoretical study days as well as practical on the job supernumerary time.Clinical preceptors are allocated to each participant.30 hours of paid study days with an expectation of 100% attendance.Assessments include a quality project and procedural competencies.Ongoing employment contract offered upon completion.
Content covered in the TSP includes: 3 weeks S/N in Cath Lab which includes 4 study days of intensive training (1 week supernumerary intensive training at Westmead or St George Private Hospital then 2 weeks supernumerary in Cath Lab at your chosen hospital).Supported Orientation days focusing on the skills and knowledge required within the Cath Lab environment.To be eligible to participate in the program, it is a requirement that you must: Apply for a position of employment at a participating Ramsay hospital.A minimum of 1 year recent experience in acute nursing is essential.Previous experience within ICU and/or Theatre – desirable but not essential.A strong commitment to high quality care.The ability to work as part of a diverse team.Excellent communication and organisational skills.Remuneration: On offer is a base hourly rate ranging from $36.65 - $51.47 + superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances.
