Registered Nurse - Townsville (Night Shifts)Nursing - Aged Care (Healthcare & Medical)
Mercy Community Aged Care Services is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our team on a Permanent Part-Time basis, based at our Aged Care Facility – Loreto (Townsville).
This position will primarily fill night shifts from Wednesday to Saturday.
This position is responsible for coordinating person-centred care to residents and supervising staff across one or more clusters within the residential care facility.
You will work collaboratively within a professional team to provide excellent care and to improve the independence and quality of life of all residents.
Loreto is a 24-hour, 36-bed Aged Care Facility.
We are looking for the next superstar to join and support our residents. Salary: $38.25 - $44.73 per hour (pending experience/qualification) + superannuation and salary sacrifice.
This role entails, but is not limited to:
Providing safe and competent clinical management and nursing interventions in accordance with recognised standards of practice & monitoring and overseeing staff practices to ensure a coordinated approach to resident care.Ensuring residents, their families, and significant others are included in the care planning process and engaged in decisions affecting the resident.Coordinating and monitoring the planning, implementation, and evaluation of service outcomes and nursing care standards.Preparing ANACC documentation to optimise funding.About you: Registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse (mandatory).Experience in leading a team and supervising staff.Ability to fill night shifts from Wednesday to Saturday.Why Mercy Community?
