Our client is a leading 300-bed hospital with the Peri-Operative Department in Canberra consisting of a Day Surgery Unit, Surgical Admission Lounge, a Post Anaesthetic Care Unit (PACU), 7 Operating Theatres, and a procedure room, covering a wide range of surgical specialities including:

About the Role
Seeking Theatre (Anaesthetics, PACU, Scrub Scouts) Registered Nurses for full-time and Part-Time permanent roles in our client's fast-paced Perioperative Department where your responsibilities will include:
Conducting comprehensive patient assessmentsCollaborating with surgeons, anaesthesiologists, physicians, and other members of the patient's care team.Recognising intraoperative and postoperative complications or changes in patient's condition and responding appropriately.Monitoring patient's level of consciousness throughout sedation recoveryManaging instruments and associated sterile items, accountable items, assisting the surgeons with access to instruments and supplies required to undertake the surgical procedure.About You
* Hold an AHPRA registration with no restrictions
* An experienced Scrub Scout, PACU and OR Anaesthetic Registered Nurse with a minimum of 2 years' experience
* Flexibility to work on rotational rosters
* Proficient in digital health systems
* Dedicated to ongoing professional development and training
* Able to pass a pre-employment National Police Check
