The opportunity The Royal Freemasons community is currently seeking an experienced and motivated Registered Nurse - Team Leader to join our team at Elizabeth Gardens Residential Aged Care Facility.

The Registered Nurse will provide person-centered care to residents, ensuring a safe environment within the facility and applying clinical skills to improve their quality of life through activities.
Key responsibilities include: Provide clinical support and advice to the Residential Aged Care Team as required. Carry out complex clinical assessments and ensure that the clinical care needs of Residents are met. Provide high-quality medical care, including assessing residents' health conditions, monitoring vital signs, and managing medications and treatments. Undertake, or supervise others to undertake, clinical care for individual residents as required, including complex wound care, pain management, behavior management, end-of-life care, and other clinical procedures as may be necessary. Liaise with relevant Residential care staff, medical, allied health, hospital, and other specialist health practitioners to ensure residents receive high-level clinical care. Qualifications, knowledge, and experience required for the role: Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA) administered through the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA). Recent experience in caring for high care and dementia residents. Knowledge of wound care, palliative care, behavior management, clinical assessments, and care plans. Other requirements: It is a mandatory requirement when working in the Aged Care sector to have a valid Police Clearance or National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) Worker Screening Clearance, or potentially both, to undertake the inherent requirements of this role.

All aged care workers must be vaccinated against Covid-19 (3 vaccines) and are encouraged to receive the Flu-Vaccine.
All successful applicants will be required to provide proof of Covid-19 vaccination prior to commencement.
