Your OpportunityBenjamin Short Grove is a residential aged care facility for 60 men and women who are homeless or at the risk of homelessness.
The Team Leader will oversee the clinical care provided to our residents, ensuring the highest standards of care are maintained.
This role will lead the care staff, providing mentorship guidance while fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
Your Key ResponsibilitiesLead and manage care staff to ensure quality care delivery.Conduct assessments and manage clinical needs of the consumers.Develop, implement and monitor care plans for consumers.Consult and liaise with allied health professionals to optimize client care.Ensure medication registers are kept up to date by following policies, procedures and protocols.Be involved in the continuous quality improvement by conducting regular audits, monitoring complaints and surveys within the principles of current Aged Care and NDIS Standards.Requirements for SuccessCurrent registration with AHPRA.Minimum 3 years of working experience as an RN in aged care or mental health services.Strong clinical assessment and care planning skills.Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work cooperatively in a team environment and independently.Understanding of aged care regulations and accreditation standards.Excellent internal and external stakeholder management with high-level communication skills.Before starting work with us, you will need to undertake a national police history check, qualifications, referee checks, NDIS and AHPRA checks.
