Please note applicants MUST be a Registered Nurse with at least 2 years experience as an RN.

We are currently recruiting for a motivated and caring Registered Nurse to work one on one with clients who present with complex mental health.
The successful applicant must have at least 2 Years experience as an RN .
This role can be carried out in our office setting, or in the community with the client, depending on the clients needs.
This role is in the beautiful north-west of Tasmania, from our Devonport service.
The role is 9-5 weekdays - No weekend or shift work!

You will provide clinical assessment, screening, education, appropriate referral, and support to individuals and undertake early intervention activities, and provide support for patients in a non-clinical setting.
You would work with the client to help them stay out of hospital and stay in the community, giving them the tools to manage their own mental wellbeing; working with various services in the community and the client in a holistic way.
With a primary focus on Mental Illness and comorbidities, key responsibilities of the role include:
Improve health literacy information on lifestyle risk factors for mental health Improve coordination of care for high-risk populations and reduce the number of preventable hospitalisations associated with complex mental health Reduce severity of symptoms in those people already affected and/or presenting with mental illness Maintaining and continually improving the quality of service provision Maintain a high standard of documentation and data collection Continuing professional development programs and annual training requirements as prescribed by the manager Requirements
Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and/or Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia or the ACMHN Relevant qualification and experience in a mental health setting or accreditation as a mental health/psychiatric nurse (or the ability to obtain accreditation).
Sound understanding and ability to care for patients and families of patients affected by complex and severe mental illness.
