The Registered Nurse - Student Midwife:• Consistent with ongoing experience, strengthens health outcomes through the provision of quality, clinically appropriate midwifery care in partnership with women and their families/significant others and other health professionals while undertaking study that will lead to registration as a midwife.

Women's andChildren's Services: Paid clinical placement for post-graduate student midwives. Supportive environment in Women's and Children's Services, including Clinical Midwifery Educators and Preceptors. Live and work in the beautiful north of the state with Launceston voted a UNESCO City of Gastronomy, with amazing walking trails at your doorsteps. Details of Appointment Fixed term, part time, shift-worker position working 64hours per fortnight, commencing from 15 July 2024 until 14 July 2025

Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar full time and part time vacancies.Salary:$72,902 - $102,908 pro rataper annum. Our Employer 11% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.
You'll have access to salary package a range of benefits including living expenses up to $9,010 + $2,650 in meal entertainment each FBT year + other benefits if eligible.
Access to the Grade 4 salary range $96,558 - $102,908 is subject to successful application for progression to Grade 4Salary range is in accordance withNurses and Midwives (Tasmanian State Service) Agreement 2023 and Nurses and Midwives (Tasmanian State Service) Interim Agreement 2013Successful applicants will be required to meet the essential criteria:
Registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia as a Registered Nurse
Confirmation of enrolment in a midwifery course accredited by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia
Current Working with Children Registration
