What you'll be doing
Practicing and promoting safe, efficient and effective nursing care that reflects current standards of nursing practices and current Mid North Coast Local Health District policies and procedures.
This is a Category A position. Recommended applicants will be reviewed for compliance with NSW Health policy directive for Category A positions prior to offer.

Salary will be accordance with NSW Health State Awards for the advertised classification/s. These awards are available at NSW Health.
A TALENT POOL MAY BE CREATED FOR FUTURE ROLES AND WILL REMAIN VALID FOR 18 MONTHS.
Current Registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia.
Ability to plan and coordinate patient care in a multidisciplinary team environment providing outcome based care utilising Palliative Care Outcomes Collaboration (PCOC).
Effective organisational and time management skills appropriate to team leadership of the palliative care unit.
Currently enrolled, currently hold, or demonstrated willingness to enrol and complete Post Graduate Palliative Care study.
Demonstrated nursing skills, knowledge and ability relevant to a palliative care unit setting with proven clinical problem-solving skills to maximise patient care.
Demonstrated effective clinical communication skills through the use of verbal, written, interpersonal skills and information technology.
Demonstrated ability to participate in meaningful conversations around palliative care and end of life.
Participate in a seven-day rotating roster including public holidays and night duty.
